Crafting the Bridal Silhouette
Flawless wedding hair is an architectural endeavor. It isn’t simply created on the morning of your ceremony; it is engineered months in advance through strategic coloring, precision cutting, and intense structural repair.
Whether your vision is an undone, romantic chignon or a sleek, glass-like blowout, the structural integrity of your hair dictates the final result. Here is the Amici timeline to ensure your hair peaks on your wedding day.
6 to 8 Months Prior: The Blueprint
This is the planning phase. Do not make drastic changes yet.
- Schedule Your Initial Consultation: Discuss your dress neckline, venue atmosphere, and overall aesthetic. Bring references.
- Establish the Color Plan: If you want to transition from brunette to blonde, or correct existing banding, we need months to safely lift the hair without compromising its health.
- Begin a Regimen: If your hair feels brittle, start utilizing molecular repair masks.
3 to 4 Months Prior: The Trial
The trial is where theory meets reality.
- Book the Trial Run: Bring your veil, hair accessories, and wear a white top with a neckline similar to your dress.
- Test Your Extensions: If we are utilizing clip-ins or semi-permanent extensions for volume or length, we will color-match and order them now.
- The Strategic Trim: We will dust the ends to encourage healthy growth while maintaining maximum density.
2 Weeks Prior: The Final Polish
This is the final touch-up to ensure seamless color and healthy density.
- The Final Color Visit: We will apply your final gloss, refresh face-framing highlights, and ensure the tone is completely locked in.
- The Micro-Trim: A final dusting to eliminate split ends.
The Night Before: Prep
How you prep your hair the night before heavily influences how well your style will hold.
- Wash and Dry: Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo, followed by a light conditioner (avoid the roots). Double cleanse.
- Air Dry or Rough Dry: Your hair must be 100% bone-dry before you sit in the stylist's chair the next morning. Do not use a flat iron or curling iron to dry it.
Trust the timeline, and trust your stylist. When the foundation is healthy, the final silhouette is effortless.
